Yes, the course schedule is 100% online. Students learn in a small, intimate, highly dynamic, and interactive online community.

What is the difference between a DHSc and a PhD?

A DHSc degree is designed to prepare leaders in health sciences, while a PhD degree prepares discipline scholars for research-based careers. Both degrees prepare students for academic teaching opportunities. The main difference is in the scope of the programs. DHSc programs offer a broader perspective of health science and focus on leadership. PhD programs are very specific in focus and require more research. The research project in the DHSc program focuses on using knowledge, theory, and research to solve real-world problems in health science, often called applied research. Research in a PhD program focuses more strongly on creating and expanding research and theory in a field of study, often called original research.
